The University of Iowa is pleased to announce the University’s two preferred travel agencies, Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited and Meacham Travel Service, will now operate as one travel management company under Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited management.  Meacham Travel Service was acquired by Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited in July.  Together the two firms have over 50 years of experience managing travel needs across the entire University.

University travelers currently utilizing the services of Meacham may continue to do so, as their staff has been retained by Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited.  Travel reservations can be made via their University of Iowa agent team, as well as their online travel reservation system, Concur Travel.  Supplementary services available to those travelers are access to the airline, hotel, and car rental discounts available through Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited, as well as assistance with managing the University’s unused airline tickets. 

Should you need emergency assistance while on the road, you now have access to contact an after-hours Tier 2 emergency service center.  The information is included below.  However, please note, this service does incur a call-in fee so it should only be used when you need emergency assistance.
