The CDC is warning women who are currently pregnant or trying to become pregnant to consider avoiding travel to your destination country due to a current outbreak of the Zika Virus, a mosquito-borne disease that may cause birth defects. If you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant, it is advised that you consult with your healthcare provider before departure, and, if you must travel, strictly follow steps to avoid mosquito bites while you are on-site.
