The University of Iowa currently has preferred travel agencies to provide assistance in obtaining airline tickets, making hotel/motel reservations and securing car rentals. Departments can use Destinations Unlimited at any time or Collegiate Travel Partners (CTP) through October 21, 2024.

Both suppliers issue electronic tickets (E-tickets) so that no ticket delivery is necessary.  The required documentation will be sent or e-mailed to traveler's prior to departure. Please see contact information and methods of booking below. 

Collegiate Travel Planners:

• Agent Direct Reservations (phone or email): Travelers can continue to make reservations directly through CTP agents until October 21, 2024. 
• Concur Reservations: Travelers can make reservations through the Concur portal (serviced by CTP) through and including September 19^th. 

• Any travel arrangements made with CTP will need to continue to be serviced by CTP until that travel reservation is completed.

Destinations Unlimited:

• The University of Iowa’s contract with Destinations Unlimited is active and ready to use now for direct-agent reservations only (phone or email).
• Optional booking through Concur will be available between September 20^th and October 4^th . 

  • Purchasing will notify travelers when the site is operational. 

    Travelers who have already registered an account with Concur will be able to utilize their same login information, a new account will not need to be created.
